Vr Blind Date and Catalina, the blind date band that launched in Australia in 2015, will launch in an annual budget package in Parliament on Thursday.
It will be the first band in the country to feature a cataline eye colour on its logo.
“The band is a very important part of our history, but it is also about the future,” Vr director of public relations and marketing, Matthew Brown, told The Australian Financial Press.
Brown said the band had not had the chance to make a decision about the colour scheme yet but the band’s vision was to be a “positive, uplifting and aspirational vision for the future”. “
It’s important to us that we continue to support the music industry as a whole, so the catalines are a very significant part of that.”
Brown said the band had not had the chance to make a decision about the colour scheme yet but the band’s vision was to be a “positive, uplifting and aspirational vision for the future”.
Vr will be launching its catalinas in Australia from March 24.
The bands first US tour was in 2014, which saw the band tour the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
“We have really enjoyed working with the band,” Brown said.
“They have a really good track record, they are very professional, they have a great sound, they play live and they have been performing for many years.”
The band’s current US tour kicks off on March 25 in Washington, DC.
“This year’s tour will be a great opportunity for Vr to introduce their catalined colour scheme to the American audience,” Brown added.
“While it is not our intention to promote the colour of catalins as a trend, the catalan colour scheme is a great addition to our already great product line and our future product offerings.”
The Vr catalin band has sold over 1 million pairs of catalan shades.
The band is currently touring across the US and Canada, playing some of their biggest hits, such as “Ridiculous” and “My Way”.
They also have a few new songs coming out.
“One of the biggest things that we wanted to do with this tour was to play a bunch of new music with new people, so we have a bunch to play on the album,” Brown explained.
“Also, we have got a lot of new ideas for the band and the music that we can explore together.”
